Introducing Snoopy and Boho
Aah I know I have been away for a while now -- been busy with a lot of things that you don't want to know about..I'm sure. Thought it was time to break my silence and introduce you all to my new (balcony) friends -- they are just adorable -- they look out for me every morning in the balcony. I have named them Snoopy and Boho.
Snoopy is nosy, observant and wants to know everything happening around him. Look at him now...thats his trademark "Overcurious" look. He keeps fluttering and cooing until he finds me around every morning!! :)
Boho is indifferent, messy, snobbish but very pretty. She'll drink her share of water from the bowl I keep for them and turn it over so that Snoopy can't have any of it. She'll also nibble all the buds in my garden and fly away to our neighbors balcony, to give me this "Ain't I cute" look !! :)
Hope you guys are doing well. Have some serious catching up to do!!

I have always been very interested in learning how to play Guitar -- not only because I love music but also because I find the guitar and the people who can play the instrument, so cool. :)Available for Sale
Don't know why but could never hold on to it. Blame it on the learning system and my mom -- she thought I would run away with the teacher !!! :)
My fondness for the guitar hasn't come down a bit in ages -- and I thought what best it can be than to paint a vintage guitar, exploding with my passion for it. My Muse!
A little bit about DOBRO. An acoustic guitar that was invented in the early 1930s in a search for a louder guitar. It has a metal resonator built in its body which acts as an amplifier. Now owned by Gibson Guitar Corporation!

It's the festival time again! During this time of the year, all Hindus celebrate in different ways to honor the supreme goddess. The celebration continues for 10 days and it is believed that on the 6th day (-called Shashti... which was yesterday), the goddess Durga comes on earth with her children.
This little girl is welcoming Maa Durga in her own little way and seeking her blessings!
Let everyone be blessed and every soul fulfilled in Maa’s presence. Have a great Pujo!! :)

I couldn't understand much of what was written on the door, so I painted the names of few places I visited during my stay in BCN - what a fab city!There's so much to discover at every turn, if you don't close your eyes to the small things of life, when strolling thru ... One place I would love to visit again ! |
